Who are we, the Geneva Cursillo Community?

Over a thousand people have experienced a Geneva Cursillo weekend since the first one was held in 1983.

We are not a separate church or religious group. Our Cursillo community only wishes to help other believers to better appreciate Christianity as both a gift and a way! This gift helps us rediscover together simplicityjoy, respect, and the strength of prayer.

Cursillo is recognized and supported across the world by the mainstream churches. An estimated 45 million people have “done Cursillo” i.e., participated in a weekend somewhere in the world. Here in Geneva, we have the great privilege of coming together ecumenically with both clergy and lay members from the Roman Catholic, Anglican, Episcopal, Scottish Presbyterian, Lutheran, Baptist churches, as well as evangelical and congregational churches such as Crossroads Church and Westlake Church.
